Wendy Zane Pang
PRESIDENT
Wendy Zane Pang is the founder and President of Wealthful. She is a fourth-generation kama’aina of Hawaii. She attended Punahou High School and holds a BA from Wellesley College and a MA from the University of Southern California.
Wendy’s mantra is “It’s not how much money you make, it’s how much you get to keep.” She is dedicated to helping retirees and those nearing retirement with alternative strategies to the stock market to help protect and grow their retirement money.
Wendy has worked in the financial industry in lending and banking for over 20 years and has worked independently in the annuity and life insurance industry since 2018. She is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative and holds a Series 65 License and an Insurance License.
She has been a board member of Assisted Living Options of Hawaii, a member of the Rotary Club of Kahala, and a recipient of the Pacific Business News “Top 40 Under 40” award.
Wendy is family-oriented and enjoys movie marathons, foodie adventures, and travel. She and her son have traveled throughout Europe and Asia including Thailand and Cambodia, and her son’s favorite place to visit is Japan. Wendy recently completed energetic healing school and is an ordained healer. In her free time, she loves seeking out new mind and body therapies and wellness practices.

Andrea M. Maderazo
DIRECTOR OF EVENTS AND MARKETING
Andrea Maderazo is the Director of Events and Marketing for Wealthful. She will likely be the first cheerful voice you hear from Wealthful as she manages the company calendar. She also oversees the planning of all events including multiple client events throughout the year and weekly educational seminars. Andrea loves meeting new people and loves the idea of helping people. Helping people is in her nature.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Andrea has a college degree in Communications and has had many years of owning and managing small businesses. In the U.S., she has worked in luxury retail and hospitality. Since starting at Wealthful, she has participated in several industry training and national educational events in the insurance industry.
Andrea loves spending time with her family and is the proud mom of two lovely daughters. She loves exploring new places, traveling, and trying new restaurants and food. She also has a beautiful singing voice and in the office, you might hear her singing a song by her family’s favorite band, The Carpenters!
Dorothy Velasco
CLIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST
Dorothy Velasco is the Client Services Specialist. At Wealthful, she assists with client asset movement including roll-overs and transfers of accounts and all client account needs. Our clients love her kind heart and caring attitude.
Dorothy grew up in the DC area and has a BA from the University of Maryland. She most recently lived in Arizona where she worked in real estate and was a caregiver. She has over 15 years of customer sales and marketing experience. Dorothy enjoys Pilates and international travel. She is a certified Pilates and Zumba instructor. Don’t be surprised if you see her dancing in a flash mob! She’s been in 6 so far!
Jeff Akimseu
Financial Operations Assistant
Jeff was born and raised in Hilo and earned a BA in E-commerce and Information Systems from Seattle University. After spending 15 years living in Seattle, where he had the opportunity to help improve workflow processes at companies like Google and Amazon, he’s recently moved back to Hawaii. Outside of work, you’ll usually find him hanging out with his rescue dog from Korea, Waffles — he keeps life fun and full of adventure.

Wendy Pang is beyond excellent. She makes me feel as though I am the most important client she has, which is how everyone I’ve spoken to who does business with her feels. She listens closely to find out what her clients financial needs and goals are, then clearly explains how she can help to meet those needs. Wendy takes time to answer all questions, and I never felt rushed in her presence. She is very knowledgeable and professional in addition to being friendly and down to earth. I’ve been so impressed by her, and am fortunate to be working with such a talented person. Her office assistant, Andrea, is on top of everything and helps keep things running smoothly for Wendy and her clients. They make a fantastic team.
